I decided to register a business for my contract work. I’m filling out this form (pdf), and it asks for my “Title / Position”.

This is obviously an extremely important question that I hadn’t given enough consideration.. what should my title be in my sole proprietorship? I’ve always liked the image conjured by “Czar”, but it doesn’t seem like enough on its own. How do you make it work in the context of a business? “Chief Executive Czar”? Clearly absurd, and CEC just sounds dirty somehow.

I welcome any suggestions.

Edit: It has been decided: Direktør. It suits my Norwegian heritage, and check out the third result it brings up on Google Images. Yes, I feel this conveys my message quite well.
