A recent project required me to filter a long list of regex-matched phone numbers and weed out any that weren’t likely residential (no 800, 888, 900, etc), any that were outside the U.S. proper (so no Guam, Puerto Rico, etc), or not a valid phone number at all (e.g., starting with 411, 123, etc).

I’m sure there could have been a clever solution, but of course this all needed to get done RIGHT NOW so I decided to just get it over with and type in the information from this list manually. In the interest of potentially saving others from having to re-do the irritating 15 minutes of grunt work, here they are:
